How to discover the true you
INsights 069, Friday 20th December 2024
Last week's edition - entitled Your day of resurrection - was about the importance and urgency of digging deep to discover the true you.
This week is about how to start doing just that.
There is a framework I use regularly to evaluate whether I myself am in the zone, so to speak. It's referred to as Ikigai which means reason for being.
It's simple but very effective in helping you to a) situate yourself based on your current work and activities, and b) think about what your ideal life might look like so that you can start transitioning towards it.
Is there a way to make your life's work a perfect integration of doing what the world needs, what you love, what you're good at and what you can be paid for, so that you can keep doing it impactfully, joyfully and sustainably?
The answer is yes, absolutely.
